The Mother’s Nest
You don't have to prepare for postpartum alone.
Enrollment is now open.
An intimate four-week experience to help you prepare for life after birth, create your own postpartum plan and connect with other expecting mothers.
Our first cohort begins 1 November 2026.
Postpartum
deserves to be
prepared for…
After months of preparing for birth and getting everything ready for your baby, there is one part of the journey that is so often overlooked: you. Yet postpartum is when your needs are at their highest - physically, emotionally and energetically.
Planning for this time isn't about trying to control how your postpartum will unfold; it's about creating the environment to feel more held, more nourished and more supported when you need it most. Because when your rest, nourishment, support and recovery have been thought about in advance, you have more space to meet whatever postpartum brings — with more care and support around you.
ROOTED IN SACRED TRADITION
The Mother’s Nest is inspired by Ayurvedic wisdom and the sacred traditions of postpartum care - wisdom that understood something we have forgotten:
the first 42 days after birth matter deeply.
In Ayurveda, the Sutika Kala is a time for the mother to be deeply rested, nourished, protected and cared for.
Traditionally, these first 42 days were seen as laying important foundations for a mother’s longer term health and wellbeing - a belief beautifully captured in the idea that how a mother is cared for in these first 42 days can influence the next 42 years of her life.
The Mother’s Nest brings this wisdom into modern motherhood, helping you prepare intentionally for the postpartum period - so you can receive the care, nourishment and support you deserve.
Not because we need to do postpartum perfectly.
But because mothers deserve to be mothered and to be prepared for this time.

Founder of Mothering The Mother ✺ Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula + Planner
If you're here, I'm guessing some part of you already knows: postpartum deserves better.
It was an eye-opening experience preparing for my own fourth trimester and quickly witnessing the lack of understanding and education within the mainstream healthcare system, regarding the specific needs of a new mother and what she could do to support her recovery.
5 months pregnant and I decided to become a postpartum doula. The wisdom and understanding of Ayurveda is what made all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle click for me and I was able to organise the care that I needed so I could access more love and joy out of this time.
And this is what I wish for you and why I created The Mother’s Nest. Not another course you don’t complete but a journey that helps you create a postpartum plan that is uniquely yours.
I want mothers to remember that postpartum is a time you can prepare for.
It’s time we remembered what our ancestors knew - mothering the mother matters.
And when we prepare for this time, we create more space for what postpartum can truly be: more rest, more healing, more love and more joy.
